Here to walk alongside you

I'm Rosie, an integrative psychotherapist working with children, teenagers and young adults. I've spent six years working across primary and secondary schools, which has given me a strong developmental understanding of children and young people. I bring that understanding into every relationship I build, so each individual feels safe enough to be authentically themselves. It's within that safety that real healing can happen.

I have experience supporting children, teenagers and young adults with a range of difficulties, including but not limited to:

Neurodivergence

Depression

Self-harm

Suicidal ideation

Anxiety

OCD

Emetophobia

Trauma

Separation and divorce

Bereavement

Friendship and relationship difficulties

Emotionally-Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

Exam Stress Management

At the heart of my approach is a person-centred belief in my clients' capacity to grow, paired with a genuine curiosity about how they experience their world. I walk alongside them as they make sense of that, rather than direct them. As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on a range of approaches, including psychodynamic thinking to explore patterns that may have roots further back, CBT tools to work with what's happening in the present, and play as a creative language that doesn't rely on words. I adapt to whatever serves my clients best in the moment, bringing the same curiosity, playfulness and attentiveness to what's said and unsaid into every session.

I offer both short and long-term work, with each session lasting 50 minutes, available in person or online. I'd always love to welcome clients in person where possible, as I find it creates the richest space to work together. Sessions are £80, with some concession slots available. I offer a free 20-minute initial phone consultation so we can see whether we're a good fit before committing to ongoing work. I'm a registered member of the BACP.
